Though it's only been in existence for two years, the Sonic Forge Festival has most definitely cemented itself as one of the premier metal festivals to be produced in Australia. Next weekend, on Saturday December 15, the festival will be kicking off again in Melbourne, showcasing the best that Australian metal music has to offer...all for a good cause, too.

The proceeds raised during the Sonic Forge Festival this year will be going towards the Center of Hope in Haiti, to benefit the youth in one of the world's poorest countries. Previous Sonic Forge events have helped to provide school uniforms and school supplies for children, as well as the salary for one teacher for a year.

Continue to help this worthy cause and get a dose of the country's best metal acts by attending the Sonic Forge Festival this year! The line up features the following artists:

NE OBLIVISCARIS
BE’LAKOR
Death Audio (Album Launch)
Dreadnaught
The Schoenberg Automaton (QLD)
